With this motto, to make stake holders powerful with knowledge and skills, Kamala Education Society’s Pratibha college of Education has established in 2009 as a private self-financed minority institution in Chinchwad.

It the first teacher training college of its own kind providing teacher training along with other value adding workshops, hands on experiences and unique activities. We impart our course using innovative methods like constructivism, cooperative techniques, models of teaching, differentiated instructions etc.

With scholastic activities we also arrange for co-scholastic activities like cultural events, competitions, guest lectures, annual magazine and field visits and provide platform for students’ personality development and inculcation of 3 Vs that is Values, Virtues and Vision,

We believe along with teacher training, teacher needs to be socially committed and we organize social activities accordingly like cancer awareness rallies, street plays on social issues, adult education and extensions programmes of Savitribai Phule Pune university’s adult and continuous education and Bahishal department.

We have qualified, well equipped and resourceful staff and I am proud to mention that all of them are pursuing Ph.D. all are enhancing their capabilities through one or the other way

About Principal

Dr. Pornima Ganesh Kadam is working in capacity of Principal at Kamla Education Society’s Pratibha College of Education, Chinchwad Pune. Having 13 years of experience in Schools and Colleges of Education. With all educational qualifications like Ph.D., SET, M.Ed., M.A. (English, History & Sociology) she also consider herself as a lifelong learner, and so along with all requisite qualifications has also persuade CIDTT that is Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers in 2013 from Cambridge University and right now pursuing PGDHE that is Post Graduate Diploma in Higher Education from IGNOU.

To expand her horizon of learning she has attended more than 25 seminars and conferences at national and international level and published papers in international and national journals. She was instrument in availing funds from ICSSR to organize national level seminar on Skill Based Education System: Impetus for Empowered Society.

She is also recognized Evaluator for IGNOU M.A. English Courses.

She was instrument in establishing IGNOU Study Center 16152 at MIT School of Education and Research Kothrud, Pune

She has conducted workshops for teacher trainees on cooperative learning, constructivism, Bloom’s New Taxonomy and models of teaching. She organizes 20 days Spoken English Course every year for slum area students as a social work and has also received award for social commitment. She has been mentoring many teachers and teacher educators based on classroom observations for professional development.

She also co-editor of Marathi Annual Magazine “Mardani” which is published on Women’s Day Every year.
